DIVINE AUTHORITY

Anyone saying they hold rank in Spirit definitely does not..

Spirits of the Firmament have something called Infernal Rank. Their rank is decided by which office they hold, and under which planetary Chieftan. They all have their own various legions [armies of Spirits] they command.

Spirits not of the Firmament - like your Granny, and mine - hold zero rank. I'm sure Granny is a lovely lady and Spirit to work with, but she's not a General of the Spirit Realm. Infernal Ranking Spirits are established entities with origin stories, it's not a gang you join on the other side.

Holding Divine Authority means you have the ability to conjure, subdue and command at least one of the Infernal Ranking Spirits. It's like giving orders to a General to carry out a mission. Being a Master of the Art means that you have the Divine Authority to command all 72 Ranking Spirits of the Firmament, and their vast legions.

Divine Authority Conjure is where you subdue and command the Spirits of the Firmament. And that's why I named my shop and academy so.
