So I get asked often: why are rituals so expensive? 

For one, I'm a Master of the Art. I successfully and meticulously command 72 Legions of Ranking Spirits. It takes decades of practice and precision to get there. It's almost unheard of that someone can be self-taught as I am. Although I had guidance early on, I've worked on my own since I was fifteen. I charge my worth for time, precision, tools and investment. 

For two, high-risk rituals demand elevated practitioner authority, heavier energetic containment, prolonged fasting and post-ritual cleansing to prevent burnout, fatigue and residual spiritual disruption. Ask yourself if you would go without eating for a week in exchange for $300. I don't. Not to mention these are highly volatile, often times malicious Spirits to subdue. They're a pain in the ass.

Third- I'm absolving all of your risk whenever I operate a ritual. What that means is that the slightest mistake- a line not curved correctly, a symbol not completed, a word skipped over- invites these Spirits into my life without chains and leaves me unprotected. But it never affects you personally. Truthfully, this never happens anyway because I work with absolute precision and focus, but a practitioner is more likely to cut corners if they're trying to sell a bunch of rituals for cheap rather than dedicating their time to your one ritual and really focusing. You don't want to book that type of practitioner in High Ceremony Magus- I can't speak for the other practices, though. 

So let's get into a day in my life when you book a ritual with me.. 

First, I have to fast. No matter which ritual you book, I have to stop eating absolutely anything for several days prior to your ritual to purify myself and ensure that these Spirits have nothing to feast on if anything went wrong. Some fasts are 7 days, some are up to 13, it really depends on the Spirits I'm about to work with. If it's a more malicious or disobedient Spirit I'll fast longer. Fasting has gotten easy for me over the years- sometimes I do it without even realizing now, but it still takes discipline to skip out on the regular social activities everyone else partakes in. Mind you, I'm still cooking every meal for my family and I don't even get to taste it. 

So let's say you book a Sun ritual.. 

Prior to your ritual I have to figure out the best viable day to schedule it. So I sit down and figure out when the Sun is exalted in Aries or domicile in Leo, along with a well placed house [1st, 10th, 11th], and clear of harsh aspects like Saturn and Mars. Then I have to meticulously plan your ritual during the day and hour of the Sun. Mind you- that's not a set time. Every day has a different amount of time with sunlight versus moonlight, I have to calculate the daylight for that exact date and figure out the 4th or 11th hour of light for that day. Because of the orbit and seasons, it's different from one day to the next. 

Once I have your ritual date, we plan a consultation where I’ll have a million questions to make sure what you ‘re requesting aligns with what I’m about to do. Leading up to your ritual I start fasting from all food 24/7 for several days and heavily hydrating. During that time I have to really check my ego on every tiny thing. Each ritual requires you to carry yourself different. With Sun Rituals, I have to make sure I’m not responding with pettiness or being vain in my daily life. After the ritual is completed I’ll experience dehydration, high blood pressure, burnout and sometimes even fevers. I then have to go rest it off. 

If you book a Mars Ritual.. 

I figure out your most viable day to schedule you. But this time I'm checking for strong Aries, Scorpio or Capricorn, completely avoiding Moon or Saturn placements. I calculate the day and hour of Mars. We have our consultation. Now I have to fast and check myself from being angry about absolutely anything. Nothing is allowed to set me off because unchecked emotions are like a feast of energy to a Mars Spirit. If I don't remain calm, unbothered, and in my Observer state, these Spirits will make sure I regret it. Once the ritual is over I have to heavily banish these Spirits, break the fast immediately with heavy carbs and protein, go workout as hard as I can until I'm depleted of energy, and rid myself of any destructive energy I may have harnessed from the experience of the ritual. They do everything they can to piss you off, mind you.

If you book a Jupiter Ritual.. 

Same as always, I'll check the planetary alignments and calculate the execution time, we'll have our consultation. Then I have to pay all of my bills ahead of even fasting for this ritual. I'm not allowed to think about income, budgets or bills. I can't spend a dime during my fasting time so if I need to buy anything, grocery shop, pay my rent, stock the stop, ship orders, etc I need to do it before I begin preparing. After the ritual I have to give back to the community and put my time, money and resources into others. Immediately I'll walk outside and hand someone a gift card, pay for someone's food, or be set up to volunteer for a charity. It's absolutely necessary because Jupiter is stagnant if you hoard the energy of it. 

If you book a Saturn Ritual..

Prior to Saturn Rituals I have to be sure I'm not manic, reckless, angry, or desperate for anything. Saturn only adorns those who have absolute self-control, patience and discipline. It also leaves it's practitioners prone to depression after a ritual so it's absolutely critical to get outside, eat some soul food, and take a salt bath. Pushing through the 'pitfall' feeling is incredibly important. 

If you book a Moon Ritual..

The Moon operates on the Astral Plane which means grounding on the earthly plane is essential after a ritual. I usually do this by physical cleansing. When I tell you I once scrubbed my 400 square foot kitchen tile with a toothbrush for three days after a ritual- I mean that shit. Physical labor and cleansing or cleanliness are a must after an Astral ritual. It has to be mindless, so music playing, keeping the vibe up while you go. 

All of this to say, I would be extremely weary of anyone charging less for a practice of this magnitude. If someone offers to invoke a volatile entity for a few hundred bucks or less you should run as fast as you can. There's no way they're following all of the steps for a quick buck. This is why I offer activated pentacles for a more affordable price, as well. It's not as intensive. These rituals all require meticulous planning, lots of preparation, and carrying yourself a certain way. They all require mental clarity- do not ever book a practitioner who has unbalanced emotions, depression, says they suffer from mental illnesses or a lack of boundaries. EVER.
